ABOUT US:
SambaFrog is a Newcastle based “samba school” or "bloco". A dance and percussion company with a passion for sharing the energy, excitement, and spectacle of Brazil's famous Carnaval. Our “bateria” or drummers get the party going, generating festive rhythms you can't help but move to.
SambaFrog holds regular rehearsals & Tuition sessions and has performed extensively in the region and beyond.
Performances include dance, capoeira, percussion strings and vocals and are high-energy, highly entertaining and musically/culturally satisfying.
SambaFrog is made up of a multicultural group of over 20 individuals led by International man of music, Jean Stora (aka SambaFrog).

JOIN SAMBAFROG

Join a fun percussion group. We currently have over 20 members.

Rehearsals twice a week. Saturdays 10am, Tuesdays 6pm and/or Wednesdays 630pm around the Newcastle area.

Participation: $120 per quarter (3 months) giving access to all rehearsals + performances.

PERFORMANCES:
We love to perform to an audience and we are available for bookings.
